This is the end (8)

This is the end. The semester ends, and the English and the classes too. The holidays arrive, and finally the time to do anything. Well, I’m going to talking about my blogging experience.

This semester, the English class was very good; music, blog, listening, and presentations. English two was boring, because We didn’t do activities like blog or music in class. I’m very happy with this class, because I could go to the class and I wasn’t bored. Well, I write about my blog, my English blog.

Write in the blog is very interesting. When I was in the school, I read classmates’ blogs and I thought in create one, but I never did. Is interesting to write about our lives and experiences. I don’t know if I really enjoyed write in the blog, but some topics liked very much, for example the topic of football. I was got excited writing about my favorite team, and my feelings about soccer. Or about Jimi Hendrix, a important person for me, an idol in the music. Read friends’ blogs is very funny. I could learn about my classmates, and I can know them more. I need help to write, the English is a difficult class for me. I need a dictionary, and someone to check my blog. I think that is necessary the teacher to write, because you can have a good mark, but with a dictionary I could work very well.

Well, finally, I think that the blog is important, mostly useful, because We could learn new words, We know our classmates and write in English, that is very necessary for the live.

This is the end sang Homer Simpson, and this is the end I’m singing now.
Hugs to everyone, and thanks.

Football!!!

Today, I’m going to talking about a topic that is very important for the society, the Football. The football is very important for me. Without football I cannot live. When I was a child, my father went to the stadium with me. We went to the games, but my father, with the years, lost the fanaticism. He prefers watch television. But, I go to the stadium with my grandfather, my uncle, and sometimes alone.

I’m fanatic of “O’Higgins de Rancagua”, the “Capo de Provincia”. When I was a child, my grandfather used to invite me to “Santa Laura Stadium” in Santiago, to watch “Unión Española v/s O’Higgins”, and I fell in love with the team, the stadium, and the football. Always that O’Higgins play in Rancagua, I go to the “Teniente Stadium”, with my family and friends. In the stadium I can scream, insult, relax me, and cry. I break the habit. For example, I cried when in the year 2006, the referee, Rubén Selman stole us the classification to final the tournament. When the match is far away, like Calama or Puerto Montt, I watch the game for television, or I listen to the radio, but I never lost a match of O’Higgins de Rancagua.

I like others teams, the others countries, like Banfield of Argentina or Liverpool of England. I enjoy watching matches, and following the leagues or Cups, like the England Premier League, or the “Copa Libertadores de América”.
I play football too. With my school’s friends I have a team, and all the Saturdays, in the morning, we play in Macul. For me Football is a life style, I live the football, and with the World Cup this grow.
Aguante O’Higgins de Rancagua.Aguante Chile

Greetings for all

Sony Walkman

When I was a child, I was very happy with toys and figures of actions, but now I need the technology to do some things. For example, I need my notebook and internet to do my English homework or I need my mobile phone for talk with my mom.

Well, my favourite piece of technology is my little mp3. Every day I travel to the University, or others sites like my aunt’s house. My little mp3 is a gift of my father for my past birthday. Every day I use it, when travel to the university, when run in the evening, when I read some magazine and inclusive before sleep.
I love because it is small, lightweight, and stores lots of songs. With my mp3 I can relax me, and sometimes I can concentrate. It is very important in may daily life. The only problem is the battery, because its duration is short and need a computer to charge it.

Clearly, my mp3 is very important for me. Without my technological instrument of music, my travels would be boring, I'd have to hear the noise of the city, I could not leave the world..

That’s all folks!

Gladiator

During my life, I saw many movies. When I was a child, I saw movies like “The Lion King” and “Dragon Ball Z” or “101 Dalmatians”. Then, I grew, and I changed my types of movies, and in the year 2000 I saw the best movie for me, “Gladiator”. I was about 11 years when my parents invited me to the cinema to see “Gladiator”. I didn’t have many expectation of this movie, but I liked it very much.

“Gladiator” (2000) is a movie set in the Roman Empire’s time by Ridley Scott and with Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Djimon Hounsou, Oliver Reed and Richard Harris in the principal role. This film won The Oscar to Best Movie of the year.

This is the story about a General Roman Maximus, friend of Imperator Marco Aurelio that were betrayed for the ambitious son of Imperator, Comodo, who killed his father and he took over. Maximus were converted in slave and then in gladiator, where he fight versus others gladiators and finally he fight versus Comodo, the Roman Imperator. This movie is fantastic, it haves a perfect set, and the story is really exciting with a touching final, a recommendable movie.

James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix

To me, guitar is synonym for Jimi Hendrix. He’s considerate the best guitar player of the history of the rock. I was a child when I knew a Jimi Hendrix and his music, and I remember that I was hours listening his songs.

He was guitar player, singer and songwriter. In the year 1992, He was introduced in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in the year 2004 the magazine Time put him who the best electric guitar player of the history.

He was born in Seattle in the state of Washington on November 27, 1942. His first years, he lived in a poor suburb and he had a bad childhoood. Hendrix enlisted in the Armyon May 31, 1961, because he had problem with the law.

Jimi, with two musicians créate the band The Jimi Hendrix Experience. They made three albums before disbanding the group, but hendrix, continued and was presented at Woodstock with great success.

Early on September 18, 1970, Jimi Hendrix died in London under circumstances which have never been fully explained

Jimi Hendrix to me is an example of effort and work. He was a perfectionist in his work. I would like be him, that is why I admire Jimi Hendrix

The music for me

For me, the music is the best discovery of history. With the music, I can relax me. The music is very important for me, defines my personality. I use music to travel, study, sleep, and even think.

When i was a child, i had cassette recorders of children’s films like the lion king or dragon ball z. Then I received my first cd, the “Japiagüer” of “Los Mox“. From that moment, I never left the rock. With music I opened my world and I discovered groups like Metallica or Iron Maiden, become a fan of this musical style.

I like the rock, “metal”, grunge and sometimes i hear punk. My favorites bands are Metallica, Iron Maiden, Pearl Jam, Rush, AC/DC, Nirvana, Los muertos de Cristo and Fiskales Ad-Hok. I have attended all the concerts of these bands, less Rush, than no yet comes to Chile. I enjoy these concerts, and no matter the price, the only important is to go.

Well, i love the music. greetings

The earthquake in the beach

The last week of holidays, decided with some friends go to the beach. So, a friend offered his apartment in Maitencillo, completely free.

After four days, we were invited a “public party” in the beach. In the night, we decided to go the party, but we weren’t really sure. At half past three, I decided to go to bed. I walked quickly to the apartment, because I wanted to go to the bathroom. When I was in the bathroom, the earthquake began. My friends were quiet at first, but the power turned off and the panic began. The girls were crying, and left the apartment with direction to the hills. We ran to the hills, because we were afraid, because there was a tsunami warning. We stayed until the people came back to their houses.

We tried calling our parents who were in Santiago, but telephone’s lines weren’t working. At 6 am, we could communicate with our families. Then, in the afternoon, after sleep, we returned quickly to Santiago.
